  • A study compared the effectiveness and safety of two tattoo removal methods: combining fractionated 1064-nm picosecond lasers (Fr-Pico) with unfractionated lasers (UFr-Pico) versus using UFr-Pico alone.
  • Eleven patients with nineteen tattoos underwent treatment with both methods, showing that the combination method achieved over 50% clearance in 84.6% of tattoos compared to 69.2% for UFr-Pico alone.
  • The combination method also resulted in fewer adverse effects and demonstrated better skin texture improvement after treatment.
