Objective: The clinical significance of incidentally detected pancreatic duct (PD) dilatation at ultrasound (US) without a visualized underlying cause is unclear. We aimed to assess the role of subsequent MRI (including MRCP) and to identify US imaging and laboratory findings predictive of underlying pancreaticobiliary malignancy at the time of initial US.
Materials And Methods: Patients with incidentally detected PD dilatation at ultrasound from 2011 to 2019 that had an ensuing MRI were included.
Climate change and excessive greenhouse gas emissions profoundly impact hydrological cycles, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions, necessitating assessments of their effects on water resource management, agriculture, soil fertility, nutrient transport, hydropower generation, and flood risk. This study investigates climate change repercussions on streamflow in the Zarrineh River Basin, Iran, across three decadal intervals (2020-2029, 2055-2064, and 2090-2099) aiming to develop effective adaptation and mitigation strategies. Four General Circulation Models (GCMs), chosen based on distinct Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) determined by the annual mean temperature gradient, are employed.

Differentiation diagnosis of lophomoniasis from tuberculosis (TB) and asthma is crucial.
Methods: In this study, 210 participants with suspected TB referred to tuberculosis laboratories in Mazandaran province, northeastern Iran, were enrolled during 2021.
Injuries to the hand's flexor pulley system can be debilitating, causing pain and restricting movement of the affected finger(s). The creation of a biocompatible artificial pulley could potentially alleviate some of the complications associated with current surgical treatments. In this study, a biocompatible artificial pulley was fabricated by using polycaprolactone (PCL) and polyurethane (PU) in the form of an electrospun nanofiber structure.

Materials And Methods: In this study, 80 specimens containing two glass ceramics of IPS e.max press and VITA SUPRINITY were prepared and categorized into four groups according to the surface treatments ( = 10) as Group 1 (C): no treatment (control); Group 2 (HF): etching with 9% hydrofluoric acid (HF) for 90 s followed by silane application; Group 3 (SPH): sandblasting with AlO particles (50 μm), etching with 35% phosphoric acid for 40 s followed by application of silane and adhesive (Clearfil liner bond F); and Group 4 (SB): sandblasting with AlO followed by silanization.
Introduction: Bronchopulmonary lophomoniasis (BPL) is a protozoan pulmonary disease that has been reported sporadically, but its incidence has been increasing. However, the epidemiology and risk factors of the disease have not been clearly identified. The current study aims to identify BPL cases molecularly and assess the demographic and some environmental factors for the first time on the prevalence of BPL as a national registry-based study in Iran.

However, uncertainties arise due to varying printing parameters, particularly with regards to the fatigue limit. This necessitates time-consuming and costly experimental validation before they can be safely used on patients.

Objectives: infection is a respiratory disease in humans that is associated with symptoms of cough, sputum, dyspnea, and sometimes hemoptysis, which shows the importance of differentiating this disease from tuberculosis and asthma.
Methods: This study was performed on 216 participants suspected of having tuberculosis who had symptoms of fever, chronic cough, or sputum and were referred to tuberculosis laboratories in three cities in Golestan Province, northeastern Iran, during 2019-2020. A sputum sample was taken from the suspected patients.
Accurate and precise values of hydrodynamic parameters are needed for groundwater modeling and management. Pumping test in the aquifer is the standard method to estimate the transmissivity, hydraulic conductivity, and storage coefficient as the key hydrodynamic parameters. Analytical solutions with curve matching and numerical modeling are two methods to estimate these parameters in the aquifer.

The present study was designed to investigate the rate of psychiatric consultation requests in a general hospital. Reasons for consultation requests, types of psychiatric diagnoses, and factors in consultation requests were also investigated.

The plantar fascia supports the longitudinal arch and absorbs ground reaction forces during the static and dynamic phase(s) of weight-bearing. The purpose of this randomized controlled trial study was to determine the effects of CAD/CAM foot orthoses that were designed based on the dynamic plantar pressure in patients with plantar fasciitis.

XRF, XRD, SEM, and BET were used to characterize the zeolite. Because of the pH variation in groundwater, batch experiments were performed at pH = 6, 7, and 8, with the highest removal efficiency (84.

Groundwater level changes are among the most critical issues in water resource management, which can be predicted to effectively provide management solutions to conserve renewable water resources. Understanding the aquifer status using numerical models is time-consuming and also is associated with inherent uncertainty; therefore, in recent decades, the application of artificial intelligence methods to predict water table fluctuations has significantly gained momentum.

IV in-line filters aim to prevent such embolisms but are not compatible with power injection required for diagnostic CT.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the incidence of paradoxical embolism to the heart and brain in patients with an interatrial shunt is higher compared with controls within 48 hours following injection of IV contrast media without IV in-line filter.
