Background/aim: The association between clinical outcomes and posttreatment changes in the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and neutrophil-to-eosinophil ratio (NER) in patients receiving avelumab maintenance therapy for advanced urothelial carcinoma (UC) is unclear.

Patients And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data from advanced UC patients who received avelumab and had not progressed with first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. Since even subtle mucosal changes may be depicted using virtual endoscopy created by the three-dimensional reconstruction of MDCT images, we developed a novel diagnostic imaging system that integrates and displays virtual enteroscopy, curved planar reconstruction, and a virtual unfolded view, the width of which changes with increases/decreases in the inner luminal diameter. The system is also equipped with artificial intelligence that superimposes and displays depressed areas, generates an automatic small bowel centerline that connects fragmented small bowel regions, and performs electronic cleansing. We retrospectively evaluated the diagnostic performance of this system for small bowel lesions in Crohn's disease, which were divided into two groups: endoscopically-observable and endoscopically-unobservable.

A 66-year-old man was initially suspected of having a microcystic serous cystic neoplasm based on magnetic resonance imaging findings of a multifocal mass measuring 46 mm in the pancreatic head, with a cystic component showing a high signal on T2-weighted images. The tumor marker levels were within normal limits. However, contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed thick cyst walls with delayed staining, which was atypical for serous cystic neoplasms; therefore, the patient was followed up closely.

Introduction: Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (IPEH) predominantly occurs in the subcutaneous and dermal regions and rarely originates from the sinonasal mucosa.

Case Presentation: We report on the case of a 58-year-old male patient who presented with progressive bilateral nasal obstruction, left-sided epiphora, and intermittent epistaxis. Computed tomography revealed a soft tissue opacity in the left maxillary sinus with intersinusoidal nasal wall demineralization, extending into the surrounding ethmoid cells and the right nasal cavity through a contralateral deviation of the nasal septum.

Computational fluid dynamics was performed to simulate haemodynamics of type B aortic dissection complicated by mesenteric malperfusion caused by dynamic obstruction in a 70-year-old man. Streamline analysis showed disappearance of antegrade flow in the false lumen of the descending aorta and attenuation of intermittent flap-induced disruption of visceral vessel perfusion after entry coverage. Quantitative analysis showed endovascular repair increased perfusion volume of the coeliac artery and superior mesenteric artery by 55.
