Introduction: Lutetium-177 (Lu-177) prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) therapy is a radionuclide treatment that prolongs overall survival in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (MCRPC). We aimed to predict lesion-based treatment response after Lu-177 PSMA treatment using machine learning with texture analysis data obtained from pretreatment Gallium-68 (Ga-68) PSMA positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT).

Methods: Eighty-three progressed, and 91 nonprogressed malignant foci on pretreatment Ga-68 PSMA PET/CT of 9 patients were used for analysis.

Objective: If excellent response (ER) occurs after radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC), the recurrence rate is low. Our study aims to predict ER at 6-24 months after RAI by using machine learning (ML) methods in which clinicopathological parameters are included in patients with DTC without distant metastasis.

Methods: Treatment response of 151 patients with DTC without distant metastasis and who received RAI treatment was determined (ER/nonER).

The anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) indicates ovarian reserve in cattle, maintaining a consistent trajectory post-puberty. In heterosexual pregnancies, the development of the Müllerian duct in female foetuses is inhibited, resulting in an anticipated minimal or absent ovarian reserve capacity. This investigation aimed to compare AMH levels in healthy Holstein heifers that had reached puberty with those of freemartin animals of the same breed and age.

Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels in the blood of dairy cattle are associated with the count of antral follicles (AFC), ovarian function. Numerous studies, particularly in human medicine, have shown that vitamin D3 (Vit D3) has a positive effect on AMH levels. To our knowledge, the effects of Vit D3 on serum AMH levels in heifers have not been investigated.

The authors present Tc-99m methylene diphosphonate (MDP) uptake in the right parietotemporal area at whole-body bone scan (WBBS) in 75 years male patient with prostate adenocarcinoma Gleason score 3+4 (pT2N0Mx). No residual or metastatic disease was detected in the patient's Gallium-68 prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography four months before WBBS. The patient had undetectable prostate-specific antigen levels and underwent WBBS to restage prostate cancer due to equivocal findings in previous WBBS.

Objectives: Metastases and primary malignancies are common in the liver. Local ablative applications such as transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and transarterial radioembolization (TARE) provide minimally invasive and safe treatment in unresectable liver tumors. Early detection of response to treatment prevents unnecessary toxicity and cost in non-responder patients and provides an earlier use of other options that may be effective.

A 61-year-old man, with a history of prior clear cell renal cell carcinoma in remission, was referred to Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT for the further evaluation of pancreatic tail mass. Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT showed pathologically intense uptake on the pancreatic mass; subsequent biopsy of the pancreatic mass confirmed the diagnosis of clear cell renal cell carcinoma metastasis. Ga-DOTATATE uptake is not specific for neuroendocrine tumors.

Background: Maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) is the primary quantitave parameter given in 18F-FDG PET/CT reports. Calculations derived from three dimensional metabolic volumetric images have been proposed to be more successful than SUVmax alone in prognostification with a lower interobserver variability in many cancers. We aimed to determine the prognostic value of metabolic parameters derived from 18F-FDG PET/CT studies in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patient population with a long follow-up time.

Objectives: Endogenous hyperthyroidism accelerates bone and shortens the normal bone cycle, which results in reduced bone density. It is estimated that suppressive levothyroxine (LT4) therapy also decreases bone density. The aim of this study was to define risk factors for osteoporosis development in patients under thyrotropin-stimulating hormone (TSH) suppressive treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC).

The objective of the study was to determine the effect of three different PGF2α (PGF) treatments in the 5-day CO-Synch progesterone-based synchronization protocol on artificial insemination (AI) pregnancy rate (PR) in Holstein heifers in Turkey and the United States. We hypothesized that two doses of PGF administered concurrently or 6 hours apart would result in greater AI pregnancy compared with a single dose of PGF on Day 5 at controlled internal drug release (CIDR) removal. In Turkey, Holstein heifers (n = 450) from one farm in the province of Adana and another farm in the province of Bursa were included.
