Purpose: Auditory brainstem response (ABR) thresholds are corrected to estimate behavioral thresholds in infants. Corrections were validated, and a comparison of behavioral threshold estimates between systems was conducted to inform equipment transition and protocols in Ontario, Canada.
Method: In Study 1, a retrospective file review was conducted.
Purpose: Bone conduction hearing devices (BCDs) that deliver sound across the skin (i.e., transcutaneous) are suitable for some individuals who have conductive or mixed hearing losses.

The present study determines the possible protective role of fig fruit extract with olive oil and date palm fruit extract (FOD) in decreasing the oral subchronic blood and cardiovascular toxicity of SiONPs, AlONPs, or ZnONPs. The present study used 80 male Wistar rats (8 groups, = 10) distributed according to the treatment. The FOD treatments were used at their recommended antioxidant doses.

However, capturing the temporal structure of processes in data analysis is a methodological challenge, and available literature to overcome this challenge is scarce, especially for workplace ergonomic interventions. The aim of this paper was to perform an implementation process evaluation of an ergonomic train the trainer program taking into account the temporal structure of processes.

Children with profound unilateral sensorineural hearing losses are not addressed. The document was developed based on evidence review and consensus by The Paediatric Bone Conduction Working Group, which is composed of audiologists from North America who have experience working with BCHDs in children.

Background And Objectives: Arrhythmia is a heart disease characterized by the change in the regularity of the heartbeat. Since this disorder can occur sporadically, Holter devices are used for continuous long-term monitoring of the subject's electrocardiogram (ECG). In this process, a large volume of data is generated.

Potential prognosis depends on the clinicopathological evaluation and assessment of other prognostic indicators. The detection of the oestrogen Receptor (ER), Progesterone Receptor (PR), Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her2/neu) and BRCA1 oncoprotein is pivotal for prognostic evaluation and to choose the appropriate post-surgical adjuvant therapy beside selecting the proper candidate for genetic counselling.

The present study aimed at studying the prevalence of musculoskeletal pain among different dental specialists in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and correlating the region of pain with the type of clinical work done by the specialists.
Materials And Methods: A sample of more than 100 dentists was chosen randomly from different emirates in UAE.
Dynamical behavior of a food web comprising two predators competing over a single prey has been investigated. The analysis of the food web model shows that the persistence is not possible for two competing predators sharing a single prey species in the cases when any one of the boundary prey-predator planes has a stable equilibrium point. The principle of competitive exclusion holds in such cases.
