Introduction: Post-myomectomy Gossypiboma causing Ileo-colic fistula is tremendously rare; it may present as a tumor and stand a diagnostic challenge. The duration between the primary procedure and the presentation is unpredictable.
Case Presentation: A 37-year-old Sudanese/African woman presented with a 4-month history of left iliac fossa mass, pain, anorexia, and persistent, recurrent vomiting with episodes of diarrhea during the last month PTP.
Background: Pancreatic injury presented as isolated injury in the pediatric population is exceptionally rare, with a conveyed incidence of less than 2% of all abdominal trauma injuries cases and a very controversial management approach for grade III injuries.
Case Presentation: A 16-year-old adolescent Sudanese boy was referred to our emergency department with a 5-day history of upper and left hypochondrial pain after blunt abdominal trauma to the epigastric region with a solid object. Grade III pancreatic body trauma with major duct involvement can be successfully treated operatively.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to the trypsin cleavage site on the 84 k protein of bovine rotavirus was synthesized (VP4-peptide). This synthetic peptide could be cleaved by trypsin and therefore possessed the enzyme binding site present on the authentic protein. Further proof that this peptide mimicks the authentic trypsin cleavage site was the specific reaction of anti-peptide serum with the 84 k protein.

A murine monoclonal antibody (designated R4/23) which reacts strongly with human dendritic reticulum cells (DRC) is described. Immunoperoxidase staining of tissue cryostat sections revealed that this antibody reacts strongly with DRC in lymphoid follicles (both primary and secondary), and also weakly with marginal zone splenic B cells and with some peripheral follicular mantle B lymphocytes in lymph node cortical follicles. The value of antibody R4/23 is that it allows the distribution of DRC in reactive and neoplastic lymphoid tissue to be clearly delineated.

Three approaches were explored: 1) production of conventional polyclonal PAP complexes; 2) conversion of rabbit PAP to "pseudo-mouse PAP" by incubation with monoclonal mouse anti-rabbit immunoglobulin; 3) formation of PAP complexes from monoclonal mouse antiperoxidase. PAP complexes prepared by the latter technique gave the best immunohistological labeling reactions, being stable on storage and compatible with a wide range of human monoclonal antibodies.
