A study of predictors for identification of risk of complications in patients with liver abscess.

Background/aims: Liver abscess is a significant health problem in developing countries and the complications associated with it are frequently fatal. Hence identification of these complications and anticipating the same will lead to reduction in the mortality and morbidity rate. Such a work will facilitate in identifying patients with risk of complications and will allow for planning of an early intervention.
