Purpose: Given the inherent complexity of neurointerventional procedures and the associated risks of ionizing radiation exposure, it is crucial to prioritize ongoing training and improve safety protocols. The aim of this study is to assess a training and evaluation environment using a vascular model of M1 stenosis, within a clinical angiography suite, without relying on animal models or X-ray radiation.
Materials And Methods: Using a transparent model replicating M1 stenosis, we conducted intracranial stenting procedures with four different setups (Gateway & Wingspan, Gateway & Enterprise, Neurospeed & Acclino, and Pharos Vitesse).

Purpose: In vitro experiments were performed to evaluate the efficacy of mechanical intracranial thrombectomy comparing the newly developed Aperio stent retriever and standard devices for stroke treatment.
Methods: The Aperio (A), with an increased working length of 4 cm and a special cell design for capturing and withholding clots, was compared to three benchmark devices: the Solitaire retrievable stent (B), the Merci X6 (C), and the Merci L5 retriever (D). In a vascular glass model with pulsatile flow, reminiscent of the M1 segment of the middle cerebral artery, we repeatedly induced occlusion by generating thrombi via a modified Chandler loop system.

Between July 1st, 1975 and June 30th, 1985 9669 deliveries seen were evaluated according to parameters of obstetric efficiency, particular risk factors, perinatological proceedings including a trend analysis. A significant diminuation of perinatal mortality and morbidity could be registered. Since there has been an obvious augmentation of cases with higher obstetrical risks in the time mentioned, these results may be underlined positively.

Therefore an analysis of 3076 ultrasonographic examinations of 1217 pregnancies seen in 1984 may lead to an estimation of the frequency of pathological factors to be expected. In our series of vaginal breech deliveries the morbidity from hypoxia and acidosis showed no difference to the same type of morbidity in our series of breech deliveries by Caesarean section.
