Epidermal nevus syndrome is a neurocutaneous disorder characterized by the association of epidermal nevi with central nervous system or skeletal abnormalities. Central nervous system abnormalities include hemimegalencephaly, hydrocephalus, various migration disorders, intraspinal lipomas, and enlarged spinal roots. Rarely, vascular anomalies cause neurologic signs.
