Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the potential of sexual intercourse as a treatment to help pass ureteral stones, comparing its effects to a control group.
  • Of 160 male participants, the group engaging in sex had a higher stone expulsion rate (68.18% at 2 weeks, 80% at 4 weeks) than the control group.
  • While sexual intercourse may assist in passing these stones and reduce the need for pain relief, it is not recommended as the only treatment option.
