Exposure to common pesticides utilized in northern rice fields of Iran affects survival of non-target species, Pelophylax ridibundus (Amphibia: Ranidae).

Amphibians are the most important vulnerable non-target vertebrate group that are affected by pesticides. Most previous studies have confirmed the destructive effects of pesticides. But, so far, no comprehensive studies have been carried out in Iran.
