Analysis of nanoporous membrane fouling relying on experimental observation and theoretical model for landfill leachate treatment.

This paper is focused on the fouling behaviour of the ultrafiltration membrane for landfill leachate treatment. Natural organic matter fouling is considered a critical factor controlling the membrane performance. In this regard, the polyethersulphone nanoporous membrane was fabricated by phase inversion.
