Plasma cell leukaemia (PCL) is a very rare plasma cell dyscrasia with a significant number of monoclonal plasma cells in the peripheral blood. It is diagnosed by the presence of ≥ 2x109 /L plasma cells in the blood or by plasma cells making up ≥20% of the leukocyte count. It can arise from a leukemic transformation of multiple myeloma, or more commonly it can be primary.

Herein, we report the scalable production of core-shell nanostructures composed of carbon-coated cobalt diphosphide nanosheets, C@CoP, via three simple steps: (i) electrochemical deposition of Co species, (ii) gas-phase phosphidation, and (iii) carbonization of CoP for catalytic durability enhancement. Electrochemical characterizations showed that C@CoP delivers an overpotential of 234 mV, retains its initial activity for over 80 h of continuous operation, and exhibits a fast OER rate of 63.

One of the important causes of trace metal pollution is the exhaust gases released from the vehicles on the roads. These dangerous gases pose life-threatening effects on the forage plants grown along the roadside as these plants are at direct risk to these trace metals.

Improved dietary products such as milk and its products with antioxidant properties and functional foods of animal origin have been utilized to prevent chronic diseases. The designer milk contains low fat and less lactose, more protein, modified level of fatty acids, and desired amino acid profiles.

Herein, a three dimensional (3D) cobalt-based coordination polymer {[Co(pyz)(fa)(dmso)]·2HO}, (1) (pyz = pyrazine, fa = fumarate, dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide) has been synthesized and demonstrated to act as an efficient electrocatalyst towards water oxidation at neutral pH. Compound 1 displays a stair-like arrangement parallel to the b-axis, with the cobalt clusters arranged in a zigzag fashion, and contains small, honeycomb-like channels parallel to the c-axis.

Methods: Cross sectional study at Services Institute of Medical Sciences, included students of 4 and final year MBBS, who filled SF-36 proforma of HRQOL. Scores of 8-domains and of physical component and mental component summary were determined.
Background: Among the dietary lipids, milk fat is most complicated as it contains more than one hundred types of fatty acids and several triglycerides. Huge versatility in triglyceride and fatty composition makes it possible to convert milk fat into various fractions on the basis of melting characteristics. Functional properties of milk fat can be increased by converting it into different fractions.

In recent years, foods containing natural antioxidants are becoming popular all over the world as antioxidants can neutralize and scavenge the free radicals and their harmful effects, which are continuously produced in the biological body. Uncontrolled free radicals activity can lead to oxidative stresses, which have been implicated in breakdown of vital biochemical compounds such as lipids, protein, DNA which may lead to diabetes, accelerated ageing, carcinogenesis and cardiovascular diseases.
