Article Synopsis
  • This study explores how providers and clinic staff view the implementation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) at an academic medical center.
  • A survey conducted 18 months post-implementation revealed that while a majority of providers found PROs beneficial, only a smaller percentage of clinic staff agreed, citing barriers like patient awareness and health status.
  • The findings suggest a need for interventions to enhance staff engagement and address identified challenges to improve the adoption of PROs in cancer care.

Methods: We included 111 patients with severe COPD who underwent RHC in a single center as part of lung transplantation evaluation.
