- This study investigates the potential of three biomarkers (REG3α, sST2, and TNFR1) in blood as predictors for the severity and outcome of acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) in children post-transplant.
- Data from 70 aGVHD patients and 30 healthy children were analyzed, revealing higher levels of these biomarkers in more severe cases of aGVHD and in those with poor treatment outcomes.
- The combined analysis of all three markers showed enhanced predictive accuracy for aGVHD prognosis, outperforming the use of each marker individually or in pairs.
