Active noise control (ANC) technology has extensive applications in suppressing sound pollution in the real-world environment. In this paper, a new adaptive neuro-fuzzy network (ANFN)-based controller is presented and integrated into hybrid active noise control (HANC) systems to improve the robustness and effectiveness of active noise suppression. Specifically, an adaptive neural network is constructed to minimize the mean square error information with respect to the residual noise.

Methods: All surgical procedures are guided by the theory of membrane anatomy, operating within the intermembrane spaces of embryonic compartments.
Results: Using robotic assistance in an inverted position to perform lymphadenectomy of the abdominal aorta at the level of the left renal vein enables safe and reliable lymph node removal, combined with the concept of membrane anatomy, not only minimizes surgical bleeding but also helps reduce complications, such as vascular and intestinal injuries.
Objective: To explore the influencing factors of recurrence after surgical treatment for early-stage cervical cancer (stages IA1-IIA1) and to investigate the relationship between human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and postoperative recurrence of lesions.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 242 patients who underwent surgical treatment for early-stage cervical cancer (FIGO stages IA1-IIA1) at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University between 2015 and 2022. Cox regression analysis was employed to evaluate the relationship between persistent postoperative HPV infection and lesion vaginal local recurrence while identifying the associated risk factors for persistent HPV infection following surgery.
This study selected genome-wide association study data from the FinnGen database and utilized a bidirectional 2-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) method to explore the causal association between varicose veins (VV) and atrial fibrillation (AF). Inverse variance weighted (IVW) was used as the primary analytical method to assess the causal relationship between VV and AF, supplemented by Weighted median, MR-Egger and Simple 1mode. Cochran's Q test, MR-Egger regression intercept and Mendelian randomization pleiotropy residual sum and outlier were used as sensitivity analyses to detect heterogeneity and multilevel pleiotropy.

To further eliminate the direct measurement of human and environmental torques to save sensor installation space and reduce the hardware cost, a constructive unknown torque estimator is also proposed by tailoring the idea of unknown system dynamics estimator (USDE). This torque estimator with low-pass filter operations eliminates the requirement of joint acceleration and has only one tuning parameter, while it enables accurate estimation of external torques of both the local and remote manipulators.

This study investigates the adverse effects of SMG on osteoblasts, focusing on changes in mitochondrial dynamics and their consequent effects on cellular energy metabolism and mechanotransduction pathways. We discovered that SMG markedly reduced the expression of osteoblast differentiation markers and promoted mitochondrial fission, as indicated by an increase in punctate mitochondria, a decrease in mitochondrial length, and a reduction in cristae density.

Whether and how 5-HT modulates cells in the microenvironment to regulate tumor metastasis remains to be largely unknown. Here, we demonstrate that 5-HT is secreted by neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC) cells to communicate with neutrophils and to induce neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the liver, which in turn facilitates the recruitment of disseminated cancer cells and promotes liver metastasis.

By transforming the traditional Wiener-Hammerstein system model into a generalized form, the system model parameters are uniquely expressed for estimation. To avoid cross-coupling between estimating block-oriented model parameters, a hierarchical identification algorithm is presented by dividing the parameter vector into two subvectors containing the coupled and uncoupled terms for estimation, respectively.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are promising tools to differentiate into SMCs. Mechanical stretch loading offers an opportunity to guide the MSC-SMC differentiation and mechanical adaption for function regeneration of blood vessels.

The exponential asynchronous stabilization (EAS) issue for a category of neural networks (NNs) with semi-Markov jump (SMJ) parameters and additive time-varying delays (ATDs) is addressed in this article. Here, the SMJ parameters in the controller gain are supposed to be distinct from those in the system structure, which is more consistent with the actual situation. To further relieve the communication load of the network, a new discrete adaptive event-triggered impulsive control (DAEIC) scheme is proposed, where the impulsive moments are the sampling instants satisfying event-triggered constraints, and the triggering threshold can be dynamically adjusted by an adaptive update rule (AUR) related to the current sampling state and the last triggered state.

Based on the encoder signal with the advantages of low noise, and direct correlation with machine dynamics, an optimized Savitzky-Golay and adaptive spectrum editing are proposed for REB feature extraction under low-speed and variable-speed conditions. Firstly, the estimated features of the instantaneous angular speed (IAS) and interference components are studied.

However, the involvement of the three-dimensional (3D) genomic reorganization in response to ECM stiffness remains unclear. Here, we generated comprehensive 3D chromatin landscapes of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) exposed to various ECM stiffness.

All surgical procedures were based on the anatomy of the embryonic compartments, which not only help prevent tumor spillage due to disruption of the embryonic compartments, but also maximize the avoidance of inadequate resection margins. Using robotics to perform radical trachelectomy, combined with the concept of membrane anatomy, not only enables a bloodless surgical process, but also streamlines and simplifies the procedure, making it more efficient and precise.

However, our understanding of the characteristics and markers of plastic cellular states during cancer cell lineage transition remains limited. In this study, multi-omics analyses show that prostate cancer cells undergo an intermediate state marked by Zeb1 expression with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), stemness, and neuroendocrine features during the development of neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC).

Background: Substantial observational evidence suggests an association between neuropsychiatric conditions and venous thromboembolism (VTE). However, the causal relationship between these two conditions requires further investigation. Therefore, we used a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) approach to assess the bidirectional causal effects between four neuropsychiatric conditions and VTE, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism (PE).

First, to avoid using the backstepping recursive design, alternative state variables and the corresponding coordinate transformation are introduced to reformulate the pure-feedback system into an equivalent canonical model. Then, a high-order sliding mode (HOSM) observer is used to reconstruct the unknown states for this canonical model.
