Objectives: The present study was done to study the knowledge change among Medical Officers (MO) and Community health officers (CHO) regarding menstrual hygiene, early marriages, and HIV/STI with emphasis on adolescents after online training.

Methods: This is a retrospective record-based analysis conducted in the State Adolescent Health Centre, AIIMS Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh in 2023-2024 over 10 months. Participants were selected based on their attendance at online training sessions involving MOs and CHOs on menstrual cups, menstrual hygiene, early marriages, and HIV/STI.

Objective: We assessed sex differences in hospitalization rates among people with HIV (PWH) and people without HIV (PWoH) in British Columbia (BC).

Methods: PWH and a 10% random sample of PWoH in BC aged ≥19 were followed from 04/01/2002 to 03/31/2020, using linked administrative Comparative Outcomes and Service Utilization Trends (COAST) study data. Hospitalizations were categorized by discharge diagnosis, using broad International Classification of Diseases-classes.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a complex condition with clear genetic susceptibilities that impact the heterogeneous clinical presentation of symptoms and severity through unknown mechanisms. Chronic inflammation is linked to PCOS, but a clear cause-and-effect relationship has yet to be established. This study used an in depth systems immunology approach and a letrozole-induced PCOS mouse model to identify changes in inflammatory factors associated with PCOS symptoms.

Introduction: Adolescents represent 16% of the world's population and around 21% of the Indian population. A study was done to assess the double burden of malnutrition, the proportion of inadequate intake of some important macronutrients and micronutrients, and the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on nutrient intakes among adolescents.

Methodology: Retrospective data analysis of the adolescents presented at the Adolescent Health Clinic at a teaching hospital (tertiary care level) in Andhra Pradesh, India, between September 2022 and December 2022 was done in the current study.

Background There is not much data regarding the effect of plasma glucose on thyroid hormones. Currently, there is no consensus regarding the timing of blood sample collection for thyroid hormones. Evaluation of the correlation between plasma glucose and thyroid hormones may enhance pathophysiological understanding of postprandial thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) decline.
