Objective: To study visual event-related potentials (ERPs) associated with presentation of erotic pictures in backward masking condition in order to investigate perception, attention and information processing underlying the initiation and maintenance of abnormal sexual behavior in pedophilia.

Material And Methods: Participants (58 males committed sexual offenses against children) were divided into the pedophilia group (=38) and the control group without disorders of sexual preference (=20). Three types of stimuli were used: neutral pictures of nature (S1), adult heterosexual erotic pictures (S2) and erotic pictures with children (S3).

We report on systematic study of transport properties of a 1000 nm HgTe film. Unlike thinner and strained HgTe films, which are known as high-quality three-dimensional topological insulators, the film under study is much thicker than the limit of pseudomorphic growth of HgTe on a CdTe substrate. Therefore, the 1000 nm HgTe film is expected to be fully relaxed and has the band structure of bulk HgTe, i.

In this work, the co-amorphization approach was applied to flubendazole (FluBZ), resulting in the formation of two novel solid forms of FluBZ with l-phenylalanine (Phe) and l-tryptophan (Trp). A variety of physicochemical techniques have been used to describe new systems, including powder X-ray diffraction, thermal methods, infrared spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. Co-amorphization has been shown to suppress crystallization tendency and considerably increase the shelf-life storage of amorphous flubendazole solid across a wide range of relative humidities.

The aim of this study was to assess the resistance of bovine mastitis isolates from farms in Bulgaria to different classes of chemotherapeutic drugs by comparison of some phenotypic and genotypic methods by means of Cohen's kappa statistics. The study comprised 546 milk samples from subclinical and clinical mastitis at 14 farms from 9 districts in the country. A total of 92 strains were isolated from tested samples and identified by PCR.

Puerperal metritis in cows is often treated with antibacterial drugs. The prudent use of antibiotics in farm animals requires state-of-the-art knowledge of their pharmacokinetics and data from sensitivity tests of pathogenic bacteria. Changes in oxytetracycline levels in the uterine secretion over time after intrauterine administration in cows with metritis were evaluated in relation to the sensitivity of pathogenic bacterial isolates.
