Introduction: Recent studies have reported that the quarantine imposed in several countries around the world due to Covid-19 affected the sexual function and relationship quality. On the March 23, 2020 the Greek government imposed a national quarantine to contain the spread of the pandemic. The impact of such conditions on sexual function and relationship quality of couples is unknown.

Conceptual controversies regarding the terms Gender and Sex.

I have been following lately the debate that has emerged in the Greek and International literature regarding the terms "sex" and "gender". Traditionally, the term sex refers to the assignment of gender at birth by the obstetrician or the midwife, based on the external genitalia. They declared the sex of the newly born baby as male or female, without any other graduation.

Low hair cortisol concentrations in obsessive compulsive disorder: A cross-sectional study.

Recent findings have highlighted the association between changes in the activity of the HPA axis, primarily its end-hormone, cortisol and OCD. However, to date, cortisol levels of OCD patients have been assessed mainly in body fluids, such as serum, saliva or urine, frequently leading to ambiguous results because of their inherent lack of stability. The aim of this study was to investigate time-integrated levels of stress exposure in 32 OCD patients and 32 sex and age-matched healthy controls by measuring endogenous cortisol in hair segments reflecting the last 3 months preceding hair collection.

Factor structure and psychometric properties of the Greek version of Saving Inventory-Revised (SI-R) in a non-clinical sample.

Hoarding disorder is a debilitating condition that results from difficulty or inability to discard possessions and the need to save items and leads to cluttered living space. It impedes normal everyday functioning and causes significant distress and dysfunction. The aim of the current study was to validate the Greek version of the Saving Inventory-Revised (SI-R) in a non-clinical sample of 554 Greek adults.
