[A comparative study of charcoal sorbents for local wound treatment].

The laboratory and medico-biological findings made it possible to choose the most suitable carbonaceous sorbents for local management of wounds, basing on the fact that every carbonaceous material has strictly selected capacity for protein and microbe sorption, and also can be the carrier of the water-miscible drugs. The "Dnieper-MN" carbonaceous fabric and "Aktilen" fibrous sorbent have the best features for sorption. It is possible to use these materials for the construction of bandages to treat wounds and burns which have little exudation.

[A method for forming and the morphological characteristics of artificial liver cysts].

Application of ultrasound surgical aspirator promotes rapid formation of major cavities with dry inner surface in the depth of hepatic parenchyma. Filling of the latter with sutured copolymer of monovinyl ether of ethyleneglycol in the ratio of one filler volume to three cavity volumes results in the formation of cysts with the given stable dimensions. Good aspiration of necrotic tissues promotes rapid formation of thin-walled cysts.

[Results of the effect of embolisms, saturated with methotrexate, on intravascular implantation].

The effect of emboli, saturated with methotrexate on the vascular wall and neighbouring tissues of experimental animals is investigated. The creation perspective of the new type of the cytostatics directed transport, promoting the prolonged effect of the preparation is shown.
