We report a case-series of Ayurvedic treatment in seven COVID-19 positive patients with multiple co-morbidities, categorized as high-risk for poor outcome from SARS-CoV-2 infection. All of them recovered completely from their illness with resolution of symptoms following Ayurvedic treatment. The data was collected from patients treated during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic (June 2020 to September 2020) at an out-patient Ayurvedic Clinic, Chennai, India.

This article reports the treatment outcomes of 167 COVID-19 positive patients who were treated with a stand-alone Ayurvedic therapeutic intervention. The main outcomes are quick resolution of symptoms, no deterioration in any of the cases and safe treatment for patients with multiple comorbidities. There was no observed mortality.

Purpose: This study aimed to characterize an Asian Indian aniridia family for both the phenotype and genotype of the disease for a better clinical management.

Methods: The phenotype and genotype of the affected and unaffected individuals in the aniridia family were evaluated. The subjects underwent a standard ophthalmic evaluation followed by molecular screening of PAX6 gene in the peripheral blood for mutation detection.
