The effect of thermohydrogen treatment and vacuum ion-plasma nitriding on the determination of the volume and surface structure of ball heads made of Ti-6Al-4V alloy was studied. It was found that the submicrocrystalline structure formed in the head during thermohydrogen treatment makes it possible to achieve hardness values of 39-41 units HRC and a surface roughness of 0.02 μm.

The effect of terahertz electromagnetic radiation at the emission and absorption frequencies of NO molecular spectrum on blood rheology were studied in vitro in patients with unstable angina treated with isoket (NO donor). Irradiated NO donor isoket produced better normalizing effect on blood viscosity and erythrocyte deformability in patients with unstable angina.

Parents and their children from 40 families of the first generation and 38 families of the second generation were examined genetically for catalase activity in the serum. It was found that children of the first generation suffered from chronic alcoholism more frequently in the families in which either mother or both parents abused alcohol. Low activity of serum catalase occurred in those children of the second generation, whose both parents were chronic alcoholics and had low catalase activity, especially of their mother.
