Chronic rhinosinusitis is a prevalent condition characterized by inflammation of the nasal and paranasal sinus cavities, significantly impacting quality of life and healthcare utilization. Computed tomography imaging is vital in assessing anatomical variations that may contribute to chronic rhinosinusitis pathogenesis. This study aimed to identify anatomical variations in the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses using CT imaging and explore their relationship with sinus mucosal abnormalities.

This study introduces an innovative machine learning method to model the spatial variation of land surface temperature (LST) with a focus on the urban center of Da Nang, Vietnam. Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM), support vector machine, random forest, and Deep Neural Network are employed to establish functional relationships between urban LST and its influencing factors. The machine learning approaches are trained and validated using remote sensing data from 2014, 2019, and 2024.

Redox coenzyme nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) can exist in oxidized (NAD) or reduced (NADH) states, which together form a key NADH/NAD redox pair.
