Aim: To assess the possibilities of using comorbidity indices together with the GRACE (Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events) scale to assess the risk of hospital mortality in acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

Materials And Methods: The registry study included 2,305 patients with ACS. The frequency of coronary angiography was 54.

Background: The manner in which shooters pull the trigger may significantly affect the shooter's results. Shooting coaches are often not able to detect incorrect pull because of gun movement during the shot and recoil.

Objective: Development of the smart-textile based trigger pull monitoring system and demonstration of its ability to distinguish correct and wrong triggering techniques.

Photochemical oxidative cyclization of 2- and 3-thienylstilbenes (heterostilbenes) containing mono-, di- and trimethoxy groups in the benzene ring or heterocyclic fragment results in the formation of isomeric thieno-annelated polycyclic aromatic compounds demonstrating optical properties that differ from those of initial stilbene derivatives. The structures of cyclic products were evaluated viaH and C NMR, HRMS, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. The research was aimed to study the effect of substituents in stilbene derivatives of thiophene as well as the position of the styryl fragment in the thiophene nucleus on the occurrence of photocyclization reactions.

The search for the inhibitors of adenoviruses has been performed among the substances of new class NCM (nitrogen containing macroheterocycles) and their analogues that have high potential of pharmacological properties. We have found a number of NCM and their derivatives that inhibit the reproduction of adenoviruses to various degrees. For the prediction of NCM structure with antiadenoviral activity we have performed the computer modeling using QSAR approach on the basis of simplex representation of molecular structure (SiRMS).
