Purpose: To explore the effect of different reconstruction algorithms (ASIR-V and DLIR) on image quality and emphysema quantification in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients under ultra-low-dose scanning conditions.

Materials And Methods: This prospective study with patient consent included 62 COPD patients. Patients were examined by pulmonary function test (PFT), standard-dose CT (SDCT) and ultra-low-dose CT (ULDCT).

Most land plants form symbioses with microbes to acquire nutrients but also must restrict infection by pathogens. Here, we show that a single pair of lysin-motif-containing receptor-like kinases, MpaLYR and MpaCERK1, mediates both immunity and symbiosis in the liverwort Marchantia paleacea. MpaLYR has a higher affinity for long-chain (CO7) versus short-chain chitin oligomers (CO4).

Copper-Catalyzed Annulation of α,β-Unsaturated Ketoximes with Dialkyl Acetylenedicarboxylates for the Synthesis of Highly Substituted Pyridines.

A copper-catalyzed [4 + 2] annulation protocol from readily available α,β-unsaturated ketoximes and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates has been achieved. The approach enables the expedient construction of a series of structurally new highly substituted pyridines with good functional group tolerance.
