Unlabelled: Cardiac injury is the critical issue in children with MIS-C, particularly coronary artery dilation. This study aimed to describe the prevalence, risk factors associated with coronary artery abnormalities, and their progression after 3 months of follow-up in MIS-C children in Vietnam. A prospective multicenter case series study was conducted on MIS-C patients diagnosed per WHO criteria from September 2021 to February 2023 at the two largest pediatric hospitals in southern Vietnam.

Natural hydrogels have garnered increasing attention due to their natural origins and beneficial roles in wound healing. Hydrogel water-retaining capacity and excellent biocompatibility create an ideal moist environment for wound healing, thereby enhancing cell proliferation and tissue regeneration. For this reason, naturally derived hydrogels formulated from biomaterials such as chitosan, alginate, gelatin, and fibroin are highly promising due to their biodegradability and low immunogenic responses.

This article studies the synthesis, as well as the structural, vibrational, and optical properties of Eu-doped ZnO quantum dots (QDs) and investigates the energy transfer mechanism from the ZnO host to Eu ions using Reisfeld's approximation. Eu-doped ZnO QDs at varying concentrations (0-7%) were successfully prepared using a wet chemical method. The successful doping of Eu ions into the ZnO host lattice, as well as the composition and valence states of the elements present in the sample, were confirmed through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses.

Microplastic (MP) distribution in river sediment, influenced by water regimes and pollution sources, remains understudied in the current literature. This study examines the combined impacts of seasonal variation and waterway differences on MP concentration in the sediment of the Saigon River and its tributaries, while identifying potential sources. Paired sediment samples were collected from eleven sites along the river and its tributaries during rainy and dry seasons.
