Clinicopathological Profile of Primary Extra Nodal Lymphoma from a Tertiary Care Center in South India.

Background & Objective: Primary extranodal lymphoma (pENL) is a malignant lymphoid neoplasm that presents with the main bulk of disease at an extranodal site. The incidence of primary pENL has risen sharply in recent years due to the advent of better diagnostic modalities. Diagnosing pENL can be challenging due to its morphological overlap with other tumors native to the site of origin.

Intraperitoneal Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma: Unveiling a Rare Diagnosis in Peritoneal Fluid Cytology - A Case Report with Literature Review.

Introduction: Sarcomas presenting as malignant effusions are rare, and diagnosing them on fluid cytology requires expertise and clinicoradiological correlation as cells undergo morphological changes, mimicking carcinoma or mesothelioma.

Case Presentation: We present a case of a 70-year-old man with abdominal distention and pain, initially suggestive of carcinoma on peritoneal fluid cytology. However, subsequent analysis with immunohistochemistry on the cell block revealed diffuse nuclear positivity for MDM2, leading to the diagnosis of dedifferentiated liposarcoma.

Background: The number of smartphone users has progressively increased worldwide. Altered biomechanics of the cervicothoracic spine and ribcage could limit the chest wall function that affects the respiratory muscles strength, reducing diaphragm function in smartphone users. This study aimed to compare breathing patterns between smartphone-addicted and -nonaddicted user groups.

Aim: To investigate the effect of bleaching agents having a neutral pH on the surface of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) used as a coronal seal material for nonvital bleaching, beneath the bleaching agent, with the help of energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Materials And Methods: Six samples of plastic tubes filled with white MTA (Angelus white) were kept in 100% humidity for 21 days. Each sample was divided into 2 and made into 12 samples.
