Cash or food transfers can reduce intimate partner violence (IPV), but knowledge gaps remain on how impacts evolve over time, and the role of complementary 'plus' activities and contextual factors. We conducted a mixed-method analysis of how the Transfer Modality Research Initiative in Bangladesh affected IPV over time. The programme was implemented from 2012 to 2014, following a randomised controlled trial (RCT) design, across Northern and Southern Bangladesh.

Undiagnosed hypertension (UHTN) remains a significant public health concern in Bangladesh, leading to severe complications due to delayed diagnosis and management. This systematic review and meta-analysis examined the prevalence of UHTN among adults aged 18 years and older, using data from studies conducted in Bangladesh and published between 2010 and 2024. A comprehensive search of major databases yielded 1028 records, from which nine relevant studies, encompassing a total of 28949 participants, were selected and evaluated for quality using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale, providing valuable insights into the prevalence of UHTN within the Bangladeshi population.

This study explores a novel approach to managing skin conditions through a combination therapy utilizing a phospholipid-enriched edge activator-based nanoformulation. 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU)- and sesamol (SES)-loaded transliposomes (FS-TL) were developed using a thin film hydration method and optimized using Box-Behnken Design. FS-TL characterization indicated a vesicle size of 165.

This study presents a new approach for the preparation of N,N-dimethyl acrylamide (DMA), and lignin/DMA hydrogels using gamma radiation, highlighting the synergistic amphoteric adsorption of Methylene Blue (MB) and Congo Red (CR) facilitated by incorporating carrageenan and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). The hydrogel formulation was optimized with a ratio of 2:1:0.75:5 for carrageenan:PVP:lignin:DMA and a radiation dose of 25 kGy, resulting in maximum gelation and adsorption efficiency.

Objective: This research aimed to evaluate ruminal fermentation, methane (CH) emissions, and the relationship between the nutritional content and CH emissions of tropical feedstuffs to formulate low CH-emitting feeds for ruminants.

Materials And Methods: Eighteen feedstuffs, including roughages (3 crop residues, 2 silages, 3 common grasses, and 4 leguminous fodder) and 6 concentrates, were evaluated using the Hohenheim Gas Test. Approximately 200 mg of feed were incubated with a rumen fluid-buffer solution for 72 h to test gas production (GP) and 120 mg for 24 h to determine the CH concentration in the gas.
