The increasing challenges posed by plant viral diseases demand innovative and sustainable management strategies to minimize agricultural losses. Exogenous double-stranded RNA (dsRNA)-mediated RNA interference (RNAi) represents a transformative approach to combat plant viral pathogens without the need for genetic transformation. This review explores the mechanisms underlying dsRNA-induced RNAi, highlighting its ability to silence specific viral genes through small interfering RNAs (siRNAs).

Outcomes of Brain Metastasis from Lung Cancer.

: Little information has been published on patients diagnosed with brain metastasis secondary to lung cancer. Correlating outcome patterns (hospice care, lost to follow-up, death before hospice care or treatment) and specific characteristics of treated and untreated patients may identify subsets of patients who may benefit from treatment. : We evaluated data from the Kentucky Cancer Registry and identified 284 cases who were diagnosed with brain metastasis secondary to non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) between 1 August 2016, and 31 December 2019.

Thermal stresses in porcelain veneered lithium disilicate and zirconia dental crowns: Comparative analysis using a validated viscoelastic finite element model.

This study aims to investigate the effects of material compatibility, variable cooling rates, and crown geometry on thermal stress development in porcelain-veneered lithium disilicate (PVLD) and porcelain-veneered zirconia (PVZ) dental crown systems, and subsequently anticipate parameters for their optimum performance. An anatomically correct 3D crown model was developed from STL files generated using 3D scans of the experimental crown sample. Next, the viscoelastic finite element model (VFEM) based on the 3D crown model was developed and validated for anatomically correct bilayer PVLD and PVZ crown systems.

To understand the efficiency of RNAi machinery in Leucinodes orbonalis (L. orbonalis) Guenee, a destructive pest of eggplant, core RNAi pathway genes Argonaute-2, Dicer-2, Loquacious, and Sid-1 were mined from the transcriptome and characterized.

Is routine hearing screening necessary in patients with inflammatory bowel disease - a prospective study.

Purpose: To compare audiological profiling and association of hearing loss in different types of IBD and evaluate the degree of hearing impairment based on duration of illness and age parameters.

Methods: 120 subjects evaluated at a tertiary centre were divided into 2 groups- Controls and Cases. Cases were sub grouped into Ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease based on biopsy.
