Variability of 7K and 11K SomaScan Plasma Proteomics Assays.

SomaScan is an aptamer-based proteomics assay designed for the simultaneous measurement of thousands of human proteins with a broad range of endogenous concentrations. The 7K SomaScan assay has recently been expanded into the new 11K version. Following up on our previous assessment of the 7K assay, here, we expand our work on technical replicates from donors enrolled in the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging.

Safety, Growth and Development After Dapagliflozin or Saxagliptin in Children With Type 2 Diabetes (T2NOW Follow-Up).

Context: The T2NOW trial of dapagliflozin or saxagliptin versus placebo in pediatric patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) demonstrated promising efficacy data for dapagliflozin and did not raise any safety concerns over 52 weeks.

Objective: Assess long-term effects of prior dapagliflozin/saxagliptin administration on safety, growth and development.

Design: Multicenter, randomized, double-blind phase 3 trial (T2NOW).

The Reality of Healthcare Professionals in Leadership Positions at the Onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

While pandemics have long been a topic of discussion in public health, COVID-19 placed healthcare leaders in a completely new and challenging situation. This qualitative study sought to understand the personal experiences of healthcare professionals in leadership roles at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sixteen in-depth interviews were conducted and recorded via Zoom.
