Pregnancy and gastric cancer: diagnostic and treatment dilemma.

Gastric cancer in pregnancy is an extremely rare entity. The incidence of gastric cancer is more in elderly patients and higher in the male population. Gastric cancer symptoms can be nausea, vomiting and epigastric discomfort which is similar to early pregnancy symptoms.

A rare cause of pneumoperitoneum.

Gas under the diaphragm can be due to like perforation in stomach, duodenum due to peptic ulcer disease, in jejunum or illeum by inflammatory bowel disease or cancer can lead to pneumoperitoneum. We present a rare cause of pneumoperitoneum following abdominal hysterectomy.
