Chikungunya (CHIKV), Zika (ZIKV), and dengue viruses (DENV) are vector-borne pathogens that cause emerging and re-emerging epidemics throughout tropical and subtropical countries. The symptomatology is similar among these viruses and frequently co-circulates in the same areas, making the diagnosis arduous.
