Background: FOLFIRI (5-FU + leucovorin + irinotecan) plus ramucirumab is one of the standards in second-line metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC) patients progressing after treatment with oxaliplatin/fluoropyrimidine with bevacizumab, but there is no evidence on its efficacy without prior bevacizumab. Moreover, VEGF-D has not been confirmed as a predictive biomarker for ramucirumab's efficacy, either.

Background: Socially assistive robots introduced in nursing care settings have multidimensional psychological impacts on care recipients and caregivers. This study aims to explore the longitudinal changes induced by socially assistive robots, focusing on a chain of human behaviors.
Methods: In this qualitative study, nine participants from two nursing homes who had experience in manipulating socially assistive robots were interviewed in a semi-structured focus group using a topic guide to explore the changes in care recipients and caregivers.

Purpose: We conducted a questionnaire survey on the measures to be taken after the reduction of the equivalent dose limit for lenses to clarify the current situation at each institution and to discuss future dose control and exposure protection for lenses.
Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted among medical institutions in the Tokai area. A total of 65 items, including personal dosimeters, protective eyewear, imaging conditions, and protective equipment, were included in the survey.
We assessed the applicability of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to the official testing method for the migration of caprolactam (CPL) from food utensils, containers, and packaging made from polyamide (PA). Hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC) columns coated with unmodified silica, carbamoyl, and aminopropyl were used. Water and acetonitrile (ACN) were used as the mobile phase, and the analytical conditions were optimized.
