This study addresses the urgent need for sustainable alternatives to conventional plastics by focusing on modification of thermoplastic starch (TPS) derived from renewable biomass sources. Despite TPS's biodegradability and cost advantages, its limitations in mechanical strength and water resistance prompted the investigation of physical and chemical modifications. Ultrasonication, autoclaving, and cross-linking with substances like citric acid and STMP (sodium trimetaphosphate)/STPP (sodium tripolyphosphate) were employed, with citric acid crosslinking standing out for its significant enhancement of transparency, especially beneficial for packaging applications.

However, its limited mechanical properties pose a challenge for broader applications. This research aims to explore the potential of enhancing the mechanical and barrier properties of TPS films through the incorporation of silicon dioxide as a reinforcement filler and citric acid as a crosslinking agent.

The primary aim was to use a combination of the drugs to encounter the above challenges and look for its efficacy. The secondary aim of the study was to determine the rate of successful completion of MRI in children using a combination of intranasal dexmedetomidine and intravenous midazolam - without the need for rescue sedatives.

However, the inability of these materials to undergo degradation has become a significant threat to the environment and human health To address this issue, bioplastics have emerged as a promising alternative. Bioplastics are obtained from renewable and sustainable biomass and have a lower carbon footprint and emit fewer greenhouse gases than petroleum-based plastics.

To assess the common presentation and extent of disease involvement clinically and radiologically and treatment modalities, sequalae of the disease, complications and treatment response. Mucormycosis is a life-threatening infection that most commonly affects immunocompromised individuals and an exponential increase in the incidence of Rhino-orbital-cerebral mucormycosis was witnessed in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite aggressive multimodal treatment carries a significant risk of mortality. A high index of suspicion is required in order to begin the appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment.
