L. is an annual, short-day plant, such that long-day lighting promotes vegetative growth while short-day lighting induces flowering. To date, there has been no substantial investigation on how the switch between these photoperiods influences yield of despite the tight correlation that plant size and floral biomass have with the timing of photoperiod switches in indoor growing facilities worldwide.

In this paper, a 5 DOF trans-humeral robotic prosthesis: MoBio is proposed. MoBio includes 2 DOF at wrist which is rare in other trans-humeral prostheses. Through anthropometric features MoBio prosthetic arm can achieve elbow flexion/extension, forearm supination/pronation, wrist radial/ulnar deviation, wrist flexion/extension and compound motion of thumb and index finger.

The conductive properties of nanodots of model porphyrins were investigated using conductive-probe atomic force microscopy (CP-AFM). Porphyrins provide excellent models for preparing surface structures that can potentially be used as building blocks for devices. The conjugated, planar structure of porphyrins offers opportunities for tailoring the electronic properties.
