[The heart's food].

In our collective imagination, cooking - especially home cooking - has always been tied to the heart, perceived as the root and symbol of the universe of sentiments. In order to innovate, "haute cuisine" must speak to the intellect, but to do so, it must firstly pass through one's emotions, so that the message it intends to convey is not left futile. To speak of the heart is to speak of health, and as such, food remains an essential element; and well-researched cuisine can demonstrate that tastefulness and healthiness can be amalgamated.

Innovative cooking techniques in a hospital food service: Effects on the quality of hospital meals.

Objectives: The hospital catering service plays a decisive role in responding to clinical and nutritional needs and in providing food that is acceptable to patients. Unfortunately, at the moment, most hospital catering services provide a service deemed insufficient by users and are burdened by a high proportion of food waste that may negatively affect the nutritional and clinical status of patients. The aim of this study was to verify the efficacy of the NI-Nutritional Intelligence project in improving the nutritional and sensorial quality of hospital meals.

[Regression and ablation profiles in corneal refractive surgery].

Regression after corneal refractive surgery is a complex phenomenon which seems inevitable. The choice of surgical technique has very little influence on regression for low myopia or myopic astigmatism. However, LASIK and SMILE are the two techniques of choice in the correction of high myopia.

Corneal Remodeling After Myopic SMILE: An Optical Coherence Tomography and In Vivo Confocal Microscopy Study.

Purpose: To study corneal remodeling during the first 6 months after myopic small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) with a 10% overcorrection nomogram, by spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and in vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM).

Methods: This prospective non-randomized observational study included 60 eyes from 30 patients treated by SMILE for low to moderate myopia. A 10% overcorrection nomogram was applied for all eyes.
