Uranium is a natural actinide present as uranyl U(VI) species in aqueous environments. Its toxicity is considered to be chemical rather than radiotoxicological. Whatever the route of entry, uranyl reaches the blood, is partly eliminated via the kidneys, and accumulated in the bones.

A study has been made of over 3800 children to determine the preventive measures and the possible prophylaxy of accidents by children. The traumatological emergencies are concerned. The study shows, by means of histograms, an increase of their frequency not withstanding the security measures which have been taken.
