As the demand for clean water intensifies, developing effective methods for removing pollutants from contaminated sources becomes increasingly crucial. This work establishes a method for additive manufacturing of functional polymer sorbents with hollow porous features, designed to enhance interactions with organic micropollutants. Specifically, core-shell filaments are used as the starting materials, which contain polypropylene (PP) as the shell and poly(acrylonitrile-co-butadiene-co-styrene) as the core, to fabricate 3-dimensional (3D) structures on-demand via material extrusion.

Background: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate clinicopathological characteristics, patterns of recurrence, survival outcomes, and implications for the addition of chemoradiotherapy for patients with resected perihilar and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (CCA).

Materials And Methods: For the present retrospective study, we identified 38 and 10 patients with resected perihilar and intrahepatic CCA. In perihilar CCA, adjuvant treatment was given as chemotherapy ( = 13) or chemoradiotherapy ( = 10).

A new species, , was described from the tropical region of the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India based on morphological characteristics and molecular phylogenetic analysis. is characterised by its yellowish brown to reddish brown granular scales on the pileus, stipe apex exudes colourless drops, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid to ovoid basidiospores, clavate to cylindrical, catenulate cheilocystidia with subglobose to cylindrical ante-terminal elements. Further, the molecular markers nrITS and nrLSU sequence data analyses of with their sister taxa revealed the distinct phylogenetic position of the new species.

The isoquinoline core is present in one of the largest subsets of bioactive natural products. The multifunctional isoquinoline core exerts diverse bioactivity, resulting in the development of numerous isoquinoline-based drugs and molecules that are currently under clinical trials. We developed a new approach for phosphite-mediated [1,2] alkyl migration for an overall -C-H alkylation -alkylation of isoquinoline.

Extraocular muscle (EOM) enlargement occurs in both acromegaly and Graves' disease, but the degree and pattern of enlargement have not been directly compared in these patient groups. This study investigated whether acromegaly and Graves' orbitopathy (GO) are associated with different patterns of EOM enlargement at the time of diagnosis. Retrospective cohort.
