Association between emotional-volitional dysfunction and features of aggression or hostility in mens with different forms of substance addictions: a cross-sectional study.

Objective: The aim: The research aim was to study features of emotional-volitional sphere and its association in mens with different forms of Substance Addictions.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: We examined 146 patients with alcohol and drug addictions using Toronto Alexithymia Scale, Zverkov-Eidmann`s questionnaire and Buss-Durkee questionnaire.

Results: Results: The study showed an increase in the overall level of alexithymia, a moderate level of aggressiveness and a sufficient level of volitional self-regulation without a significant difference between the groups.

[Peculiarities of metabolic characteristics in females of reproductive age with hyperplastic processes of cervix and mammary glands].

The aim of our investigation was the evaluation of character of metabolic disorders in patients with hyperplastic processes of uterine corpus, cervix and mammary glands. 88 patients of reproductive age with several gynaecological complaints have been investigated. 72 patients with hyperplastic processes of endometrium and endocervix (hyperplasia, polyposis), myoma of uterus, fibroadenoms and adenomatosis of mammary glands were selected in main group.

[Diagnosis and surgical treatment of traumatic intracranial membrane hematoma of rare localization].

The results of treatment of 93 patients with traumatic membrane hematoma of rare location (membrane hematoma of the posterior cranial fossa, epidural hematoma of the anterior cranial fossa, occipital pole, hematoma located over the upper longitudinal sinus, intercerebral subdural hematoma, subdural hematoma of basal location) have been analysed. Difficulties in diagnosis of hematoma are conditioned by a variety of clinical signs. The informative value of the different methods of diagnosis were assessed, peculiarities of surgical intervention noted.

[The characteristics of the clinical course and diagnosis of traumatic intracranial hematomas with rare locations].

The clinical course was studied as were potentialities of certain methods of diagnosis in 91 patients with traumatic intracranial hematomas of rare localization: hematomas of the posterior cranial fossa, epidural hematomas of the anterior cranial fossa and occipital pole, and those seated above the upper longitudinal sinus, interhemispheric subdural hematomas and basal subdural hematomas. The authors' and reported data are summarized.
