Objectives: Anticancer drugs were in 2005 the first expenditure item of the hospital drugs. Ten years later, it is noted that the placing on the market of generic drugs has led to a strong decrease of their price. To determine whether this decrease comes at the expense of product quality, a price-quality ratio trend study of five anticancer drugs was performed at AP-HP.

Background: The self-medication hypothesis is commonly put forward to explain the high prevalence of smoking in psychiatric patients. However, studies supporting the self-medication hypothesis have most often been carried out on chronic patients stabilized by antipsychotics.

Aim: Given that antipsychotics tend to erase psychiatric symptoms, the present study was undertaken on acutely ill patients usually receiving no medications, or on whom medications are ineffective.

[Pharmaco-therapeutic evaluation of medical treatments of adult autistics and multi-handicapped patients in a public mental health unit].

Introduction: This paper presents a survey conducted on a population of multi-handicapped patients and autistic adults hospitalised long term in the Paul Guiraud mental health Hospital in Villejuif France.

Objective: The aim of the survey is to deepen the knowledge of the treatments for this specific population.

Methods: A preliminary medical investigation was conducted on the population in order to target different groups of patients.
