Running is a popular form of cardiovascular exercise. Unfortunately, it can also lead to musculoskeletal injuries of the lower extremities. The epidemiology of such injuries remains in question as injury rates have remained relatively constant despite changes in shoe types, shoe mechanics, and gait methods.

To address these questions in the cotton rat model of RSV infection, we characterized cotton rat eosinophils by electron microscopy as well as by bronchoalveolar lavage and histology of lung sections. Using these methods, we demonstrated that eosinophils comprise approximately half of all cells in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluids from cotton rats.

Recording sessions were performed before CI, then 6 and 24months after CI. Results showed that prelingual and, at a lesser degree, postlingual auditory deprivation altered cortical visual neural activity associated to colored shapes from both P1 and N1 cortical processing stages.

Purpose: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic demyelinating, degenerative disease requiring long-term treatment. Patient adherence to treatment may be challenging in such scenarios, especially since treatment often involves self-injection, for example, with interferon beta-1b during therapy. BETACONNECTâ„¢ is a novel electronic autoinjector for patient support in interferon beta-1b administration.

Objectives: The study attempts to specify the circumstances under which we should pay attention to children's pseudohypacusis. It evaluates the methods used to detect such cases and to determine hearing thresholds, according to the uni-or bilateralism of hearing loss. The study finally deals with the future of children diagnosed with pseudohypacusis.
