Unlabelled: Our study sought approaches for chronic liver failure (CLF) treatment and correction via cell-engineered constructs (CECs). They are built from biopolymer-based, microstructured, and collagen-containing hydrogel (BMCG). We also strove to evaluate the functional activity of BMCG in liver regeneration.

Background: Decisions about fat consumption and levels of physical activity are among the everyday choices we make in life and risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) can be affected by those choices.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of a standard fat load combined with physical exertion of different intensities on the plasma lipid profile of CHD patients and CHD-free individuals.

Methods: This study looked at the influence of different intensities of physical exercise on postprandial lipid metabolism in 20 healthy men and 36 men with diagnosis of CHD.

We studied the effects of nanodispersed ceria on wound healing in vitro and in vivo. It was found that cerium dioxide stimulated wound healing, which manifested in shrinkage of burn wound area (by 1.5 times) and intensification (by 2.

The lipoproteins of low and high density are presented by heterogeneous specter of particles differing by size, density, charge, composition and functional characteristics. The prevalence of small dense particles of lipoproteins of low and high density in blood plasma is associated with higher risk of development of coronary heart disease. The identification of subfractional spectrum of lipoproteins in clinical purposes is complicated because of requirement of expensive equipment and reagents and extended time of implementation.
