Scoping review of drug dosing recommendations in sustained low-efficiency dialysis.

The objective of this scoping review was to answer the question, "What has been published describing drug dosing in sustained low-efficiency dialysis (SLED)?" PubMed, Embase, and Scopus were searched on November 18, 2022. Methodology followed the Arksey and O'Malley framework for scoping reviews and Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines. Two investigators independently screened abstracts and full-texts of citations identified related to drug dosing and SLED.

Background: Treatments after anti-PD-1 therapy for patients with recurrent, metastatic (R/M) head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) are limited. Blocking phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) signaling may lead to tumor immunomodulation and enhanced taxane sensitivity. This phase 2 trial evaluated dual, selective PI3Kδ/γ inhibition with docetaxel in patients with anti-PD-1 refractory R/M HNSCC.

Efficacy of stellate ganglion block in treatment of electrical storm: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Electrical storm (ES) is a life-threatening condition of recurrent ventricular arrhythmias (VA) in a short period of time. Percutaneous stellate ganglion blockade (SGB) is frequently used - however the efficacy is undefined. The objective of our systematic review was to determine the efficacy of SGB in reducing VA events and mortality among patients with ES.

Oobius agrili Zhang and Huang (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) is an important egg parasitoid of the emerald ash borer (EAB), Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire (Coleoptera: Buprestidae). Methods for laboratory-rearing O. agrili have been developed but its mass-production depends on the continuous production and storage of freshly laid EAB eggs as well as diapaused parasitoid progeny (inside parasitized EAB eggs).
