This study has compared acupuncture electrodiagnostic and hormonal data of oligomenorrheic women before and after an acupuncture regimen. According to the pretreatment hormonal status the patients were assigned to 3 groups: (1) ovarian hypofunction; (2) ovarian hypofunction with hyperandrogenism; (3) ovarian hypofunction with functional hyperprolactinemia.
