Observed were 117 patients with different neuroses (neurasthenia, hysteria, obsessive) involving intense vasoautonomic paroxysms of sympathetic-adrenal, vagoinsular and combined nature. Unfavorable course of such neuroses was noted. Combined one-session acupuncture and hypnosis treatment is put forth and the increased hypnogenicity phenomenon was demonstrated under acupuncture therapy.

The paper reports on observations of the onset and development of neurotic states in patients (n = 51) suffering from various forms of epilepsy at different stages of the disease. The clinical features of the principal types of neuroses such as neurasthenia, hysteria or neurosis of obsessive states proceeding in the presence of epilepsy are considered and clinical examples are adduced. Recommendations are given on the treatment of such patients using psychotherapy (including hypnotherapy) and acupuncture combined with basic anticonvulsion treatment.

The authors conducted a cytogenetical, anthropological and clinical study of 5 patients with aneuromia by Y chromosome. A cytogenetical study of 4 patients revealed Kariotype 47, XYY, in one-mosaicism of the 46, XY/47, XYY type. All the patients had drive pathology, and a retarded intellect compared to normal individuals.
