Anthropogenic activities are leaving lots of chemical footprints on the soil. It alters the physiochemical characteristics of the soil thereby modifying the natural soil microbiome. The prevalence of antimicrobial-resistance microbes in polluted soil has gained attention due to its obvious public health risks.

This study aims to create a laboratory unit for induction heating and assess how possible it is to use local induction heating in solving problems related to biotechnology and medicine. This article contains a description of a method for non-contact local hyperthermal heating of biological tissues using inductive electromagnetic radiation. The method is based on the introduction of a composite material consisting of a polymer base and incorporated ferromagnetic particles into living tissues.

In particular, antagonism between bacteria or bacteria and fungi can be achieved by direct destruction of the targeted cells through the regulated production of antimicrobial metabolites or by controlling their adaptive mechanisms, such as the formation of biofilms. The quorum-quenching phenomenon provides such a countermeasure strategy.

The simplified mathematical model of the physical processes proceeding at a sample heating is presented. Model results are used for approximation of the experimental data.
