Objective: This study focused on the nanoliposomal encapsulation of bioactive compounds extracted from L. (ME) using ethanol as a strategy to improve the antibacterial activity, anticytotoxic, and antiproliferative properties.
Methods: Nanoliposomes loaded with ME (MEL) were characterized for total phenolic content, particle size, polydispersity, and encapsulation efficiency.
Fluorescence lifetime has emerged as a unique imaging modality for quantitatively assessing the molecular environment of diseased tissues. Although fluorescence lifetime microscopy (in 2D) is a mature field, 3D imaging in deep tissues remains elusive and challenging owing to scattering. Herein, we report on a deep neural network (coined AUTO-FLI) that performs both 3D intensity and quantitative lifetime reconstructions in deep tissues.

Aims: This study aims to explore the prevalence of and identify the risk factors for depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic among people with chronic diseases in Bangladesh.
Background And Aims: Natural compounds extracted from medicinal plants have recently gained attention in therapeutics as they are considered to have lower Toxicity and higher tolerability relative to chemically synthesized compounds. Bakuchiol from L. is one such compound; it is a type of meroterpene derived from the leaves and seeds of plants.

Since the development of ETEC-specific long lived plasma cells and memory B cells is likely to be dependent on T helper (Th) cells, we investigated if natural ETEC diarrhea elicits ETEC-specific Th cells and their relation to IgA responses.
Methods: Th cell subsets were analyzed in adult Bangladeshi patients hospitalized due to ETEC diarrhea by flow cytometric analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) isolated from blood collected day 2, 7, 30 and 90 after hospitalization as well as in healthy controls.
