The development of algae is seen as a potential and ecologically sound approach to address the increasing demands in multiple sectors. However, successful implementation of processes is highly dependent on effective growing and harvesting methods. The present study provides a complete examination of contemporary techniques employed in the production and harvesting of algae, with a particular emphasis on their sustainability.

An important premise of this paper is that governments in tropical regions have taken proactive action in minimizing energy consumption by air-conditioning through elevated room temperature. However, would such an action worsen the quality of interior conditions, particularly the thermal comfort? To answer this question, developing a human thermal comfort model under stratum ventilation mode can become a reference model for air-conditioning system design in all tropical buildings and indirectly reduce the emission of carbon dioxide (CO) from heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system that caused a warmer environment.

The current study presents a novel tandem flapping wing mechanism for a biomimetic air vehicle that was designed and manufactured to experimentally investigate the aerodynamic forces. By optimizing the configuration and using spatial network analysis, it is shown that the designed structure can flap the wings in a linear up-down stroke motion and is capable of maintaining good consistency and aerodynamic performance.

The wearable patch pumps have evolved from reservoir-based to matrix patch and drug-in-adhesive (single-layer or multi-layer) type. In this review, we presented the basic requirements of an artificial pancreas, surveyed the design and technologies used in commercial patch pumps available on the market and provided general information about the latest wearable patch pump.

Patients CT scan image data of normal and diseased left coronary artery was chosen for the reconstruction of 3D coronary artery models. The diseased 3D model of left coronary artery shows a narrowing of more than 70% and 80% of area stenosis (AS) at the left main stem (LMS) and left circumflex (LCX) respectively.
