Background: Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality in women. Deregulation of miRNAs is frequently observed in breast cancer and affects tumor biology. A pre-miRNA, such as pre-miR-1307, gives rise to several mature miRNA molecules with distinct functions.

We report the development of an advanced electrochemical sensor based on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a nanostructured cassiterite (SnO)/carbon black (CB) composite, synthesized via hydrothermal and sonochemical techniques. The sensor benefits from SnO's high electrical conductivity, chemical stability, and large bandgap, while CB enhances its performance with superior conductivity.

Nonetheless, intense efficacy for in vivo treatment is restricted by inadequate photocatalytic activity and visible light response.
Methods: In this study, we designed a photocatalytic heterostructure using graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) and tin disulfide (SnS) to synthesize g-CN/SnS heterostructure through hydrothermal process.
