 Diwali is a festival that is passionately celebrated by Indians all across the globe. Fire hazards associated with this festival are well known. Our hospital is a tertiary care burn center and caters to a patient population from all over North India.

A new classification for Freiberg's disease.

Introduction: Freiberg's osteochondrosis is an uncommon cause of foot pain. Following a national survey circulated by the British Foot and Ankle Society it was found that no classification is used to guide surgical treatment. This study aimed to create a simple, reproducible CT based classification to preoperatively plan whether an osteotomy is required.

Enhancing the utility of virtual surgical pre-assessment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual pre-assessment was introduced for all elective and semi-urgent surgeries to maintain surgical clinical services in the authors' Trust. This mainly involved telephone pre-assessments, although occasionally video technology was used. This had to be managed and maintained at a distance with little or no training or established method.

Identifying Quality Indicators Used by Patients to Choose Secondary Health Care Providers: A Mixed Methods Approach.

Background: Patients in health systems across the world can now choose between different health care providers. Patients are increasingly using websites and apps to compare the quality of health care services available in order to make a choice of provider. In keeping with many patient-facing platforms, most services currently providing comparative information on different providers do not take account of end-user requirements or the available evidence base.

Spinal cord stimulation for visceral pain related to chronic pancreatitis: report of 2 cases.

Objective: To report our experience related to the use of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for relief of chronic pancreatitis-related neuropathic visceral pain.

Methods: Two patients, 50 years old and 39 years old, presented with intractable visceral pain related to chronic pancreatitis. A quadripolar electrode for SCS was inserted at the T8-10 level using a percutaneous technique.
